Dear Romeo Bulldog Parents,
First let me introduce myself. My name is Connie Summers, and I am the new Athletic Trainer here at Romeo High School. I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled I am to join the Bulldog family. Some of you might have seen me at the spring sporting events, but if you have not introduced yourself please feel free too. I am a recent graduate of Eastern Michigan University, with my Bachelors in Sports Medicine-Athletic Training, and have been involved in the Macomb Area Conference for a few years.
I am very eager to start my first football season here at Romeo, and would like to inform you of some tips to keep your child healthy during the season.
Also, I know many of you have your family physicians that you go to for when your child is sick or hurt, but sometimes they are not as pro-active as an orthopedic or sports medicine doctor, would be to return your child to play. Below is a list of physicians that understand athletes and athletic injuries who are willing to work with the athletes, parents, and athletic trainers, to get your child back soon and healthier.
Again I am very excited to be joining the Romeo family, and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to call. I am looking forward to meeting all of you.
Sincerely,
Connie Summers Athletic Trainer
